I hypothesize that the white wing with the paper clip on the nose with go the furthest.

Experimental Design
I’m going to conduct my experiment at school, in the courtyard of the school. They're will be two people included in my experiment being conducted for the science fair. I’m only going to conduct three trials in one spot for the airplane, I made to experiment with in my project for the science fair. I am going to use a printed out spreadsheet to write down my data, and I am going to record my data for the experiment while I am conducting my science project. I’m going to make one airplane and a data table. I’m also going to take my supplies and go in the Kennett Middle School courtyard and conduct my experiment. I’m also going to fly the airplane and write down my data on my data table. The data I’m going to collect is about the distance my paper airplane flies.

Detailed Procedure
First I'm going to make my white wing plane.
I will make a data table for the distance the white wing plane goes.
I’m going to take them to the KMS court yard.
I'm going to fly my white wing air plane in one certain place in the court yard.
I will throw the airplane with my hand touching my shoulder and then quickly extending my arm letting go of the white wing airplane.
I will write down how far each white wing airplane goes in one certain place in the courtyard.
Background Research
Directions: In order to present yourself as a researcher who is well-educated on their science fair topic, you
will need to gain some background information. Add your research to the table below. Be sure to write
everything in your own words and cite your sources using oslis.org. You must use at least one book in your
research.
How Machines Work: Airplanes Graham, Ian. How Machines Work: Aircraft. Mankato, MN: Black rabbit books, 2009. Print.
Information: lift, wing, pitch.
Information: from this site I got ten different ways to make ten different paper airplane models. I also got the measurements for the instructions on how to make the models.
Information: This site gave me a lot of information and different ways how to make different paper airplanes.
Information: This site is very helpful on making nice gliders.
